You've probably seen or heard about permanent lights at this point and are wondering if these are for you or your business.  We'll try to give you as much information as possible here so we can help you with your decision. Often people are trying to decide between temporary holiday lights and permanent lighting.  As a general rule of thumb we say that the permanant lights will cost around 3 times as much as the seasonal lights. So if you're looking to put lighting on your home for multiple years you may want to consider the permanent lights. One of the neatest things about the permanent lights is all of the options! These are not just holiday or special event lighting. This is architectural lighting. So besides thousands of options in colors and effects, it can be used as everyday downlighting on your home. Many people like to just light the corners and peaks of their home. And one of the best things about Omni Lights versus Govee or most of the other companies is the huge variety of "white" shades available. Yes we have warm white and cool white, but there is a whole range of tan and beige white available as well. Giving a beautiful night time down light effect on your home.

The lights are controlled with an app on your phone. The app is very easy to maneuver. So easy we've even trained a 77 year old woman who had no problem learning the lights app The app comes with a huge variety of pre-programmed lighting options. Every holiday from Christmas to Halloween to 4th of July and Easter. But you can also create your own color combinations and patterns. For example if you were to host a bridal shower and the brides colors are lime green and pastel purple, you can program the lighting to those colors. You can do 1 green, 1 purple, you can do 3 purple's 1 green, you can make the peaks and corners purple and the rest green, 3 purple 3 green, even the possibilities here are endless! And our color options are unbeatable in the permanent light market! Most companies like Govee just offer your standard red, green, blue, yellow.... Omni has every shade of every color, so for green we can do pastel, lime, sage, grass etc. We also offer an hour of training on the app when we install your lighting.

We'd be remiss not to mention the tremendous safety features of permanent lighting! Statistics have shown that a well lit home is 72% less likely to be broken into than an unlit home. And with the Omni app, you can program the lights to change every night at a specific time to security lighting which would put white lighting on over your doors, windows, garage and peaks.

How do you know which brand is the best or best for you? There's no one right answer to this question. There are a handful of companies whose products are better than other companies. But sometimes the decision comes down to features. We get a lot of calls from people asking if we install Govee lights so let's do a Govee versus Omni comparison. Govee lights have a 1 year limited warranty. Omni RGB Lighting has a lifetime limited warranty. Govee lights are spaced every 24", Omni is spaced every 8", which allows for complete light saturation if you have every light turned on. You have probably noticed the Govee lights when you are driving at night. They make large V's on the side of a house. Govee requires 110V, Omni is 12V, 24V or 48V. Govee has a lifetime light rating of 50,000 hours, Omni has a lifetime light rating of 100,000 hours. Govee is a DIY lighting program with no tracks to hide the wiring. Omni requires a certified installer, and the lights fit in aluminum tracks that slide into your soffits. We do have other tracking that is used on barns and businesses that don't have soffits. Omni RGF lighting has a chip in it that no other company in the market currently has, or will have for the next 2 years.  The chip does give OMNI lights a competitive advantage and in our opinion makes it a superior product.
